Morning Meditation LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-12th

Summer Camp Week 8, July 22nd-26th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)

Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.

Summer Camp Week 8

Down at the Farm
Grades: Pre-k (ages: 3-5)

Teacher: Grace Kistner | July 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)

Join us for a barnyard adventure, filled with imaginative play and farm-inspired activities! From crafting paper plate cows to corralling pretend pigs and celebrating the harvest season with corn painting and butter churning, each day will be filled with hands-on creativity.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Little Wildlife Biologists
Grades: K-2nd

Teacher: Meredith Coffey & Gaby Hoss | July 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Grab your gear and join in the fun as this class becomes a group of little Wildlife Biologists. Learning about animals in all shapes and sizes, from the tiniest insects to the largest mammals. We will investigate what animals eat, and how they live, adapt, and survive in the wild. Students will discover different habitats from around the world and how/why animals call those places home. Sprinkling in lots of crafts, experiments, and most importantly fun all along the way!

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut-free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Recycled City
Grades: K-2nd

Teacher: Brittany Morton | July 22nd-26th, 9:00am-4:00pm | $350 (members $325)

Calling all builders!

Students will work together to create an AMAZING recycled city. Using teamwork and collaboration, students can decide what is important to have in their hand-built city. This class will emphasize critical thinking, creation, reducing, reusing, and recycling.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut-free snacks, one lunch and a personal water bottle for their child.

Creatures of Folklore in Clay
Grades: 3rd-5th

Teachers: Marianne Brown & Meghan Taylor| July 22nd-26th, 9:00am-4:00pm | $365 (members $340) 
Grades: 3rd-5th 

Learn about the many creative creatures humans have imagined throughout our history! Use hand-building techniques in clay to create your very own Loch Ness Monster, cyclops, dragons, and more! Cover 5,000 years in 5 days! 

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut-free snacks, one lunch and a personal water bottle for their child.

Painting with Lennon. Murals, Bathrooms & More!
Grades: 6th-8th

Teacher: Lennon Michalski | July 22nd-26th, 9:00am-4:00pm | $350 (members $325) 
Grades: 6th-8th

This is your chance to learn from and paint a bathroom with a master! Local artist, Lennon Michalski, has had works of art exhibited here at the LASC, nationally, and beyond. In this class, students will work on their very own masterpieces with guidance and tips from Lennon. Students will explore different paints and different styles. This group will also collaborate together to create a mural that they will then paint on one of LASC’s bathrooms. Your student’s stamp will be left here at LASC for years to come.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut-free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Printmaking Palooza
Grades: 9th-12th

Teacher: Amy Schmidt | July 22nd-26th, 1:00pm-4:00pm | $200 (members $175) 
Grades: 9th-12th 

Enrich your knowledge of a variety of printmaking methods. Explore different types of printmaking including monotypes, relief prints, collagraphs, and much more. Students will deepen their understanding of these methods through independent and collaborative explorations.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.

Learning Lounge LASC Aftercare
Grades: K-12th

Summer Camp Week 8: July 22nd-26th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)

Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities, and recreation time after class. Students must be picked up by 5:30 pm.
