Mobile Field Trip Packages:
Kentucky Encounter
Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Immerse your students in a science-based exploration of Kentucky’s ecosystems, allowing them to create projects on local wildlife and habitats while meeting a live Kentucky native animal. Students will learn how to construct an argument supported by evidence for how plants and animals (including humans) can change the environment to meet their needs, make observations of plants and animals to compare the diversity of life in different habitats, and formulate an argument that some animals form groups that help members survive. Kentucky Encounter includes:
1 Educator
30 Minute Guided Art Lesson & Project
Price covers the cost of materials for art project
30 Minute Guided Animal Educator Meet and Greet
