Summer Camp Week 3: June 15th-19th
Morning Meditation LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 3, June 15th-19th | K - 8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8 am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving, and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45 am.
Under the Sea
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5)
Teacher: Brittany Morton | June 15th-19th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)
Get ready to dive into a fun Preschool ocean adventure. Campers will learn about friendly sea creatures, their ocean homes, and simple ways we can help take care of our planet. Using recycled materials, children will create ocean-themed art and enjoy easy, hands-on science activities. This playful camp inspires creativity while teaching little learners how to love and protect the ocean.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Wildlife Biologists
Grades: K-2nd

Grab your gear and join the fun as campers become Wildlife Biologists in this art and science adventure! Students will explore animals of all shapes and sizes, learning how they eat, live, adapt, and survive in habitats around the world. Along the way, campers will create hands-on projects like 3D papier-mâché animals, mixed-media birds, clay dragonflies, felt butterflies, and foil spiders. This camp blends creativity, discovery, and fun for kids who love animals and hands-on learning.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Pottery Palooza
Grades: K-5th
Teachers: Christine Collier | June 15th-19th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $365 ($340 Members)

It’s Pottery Palooza Time! Campers will explore all that the ceramics studio has to offer. Students will learn fundamental ceramic techniques like hand-building, sculpting, and surface design. From pinch pots and slab-built forms to texture, carving, and glazing, students will create functional and decorative pieces while discovering how clay transforms from soft to fired ceramic. This camp is perfect for young artists who love working with their hands and bringing their ideas to life in clay.

Book Club
Grades: 3rd-5th
Teacher: Grace Kistner | June 15th-19th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Grab your books! Book Club is a creative class where we explore different genres of fiction, including fantasy, mystery, humor, and many more stories. Through hands-on activities, games, and daily writing prompts, students bring each genre to life and build their own ideas. By the end of the week, each student creates their own original book and celebrates with a special book signing.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Mud to Masterpieces: Clay Camp
Grades: 6th-8th
Teachers: Gaby Hoss | June 15th-19th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $365 ($340 Members)
Grades: 6th-8th grade
In this hands-on clay camp, students will explore the art of working with clay while exploring themes of nature, animals, and eco-friendliness. Campers will learn basic clay techniques like shaping, carving, and building while creating their own unique projects inspired by their imagination. Through guided projects and open-ended creativity, students will develop artistic patience and confidence! All while getting their hands a little muddy and having lots of fun!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Learning Lounge: LASC Aftercare
Grades: K - 8th
Summer Camp Week 3, June 15th-19th | K - 8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm.
