Summer Camp Week 10: August 3rd-7th
Morning Meditation (LASC Morning Care)
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 10, August 3rd-7th | K - 8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Little Builders & Engineers
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5)
Teacher: | August 3rd-7th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)
Calling all little builders! Is your preschooler passionate about building? Then get ready to build, explore, and imagine. Campers will use blocks, recycled materials, and tools to create towers, bridges, and other fun structures while learning basic engineering concepts. Through playful experiments, these little builders will discover how shapes, weight, and design affect their creations. Perfect for curious little engineers who love to build, experiment, and see their ideas come to life!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Rainforest Rangers
Grades: K-2nd
Teachers: Virginia Carvalho | August 3rd-7th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Using beautifully illustrated books and your creative powers, get ready to journey through rainforest habitats of your own creation. Explore multi-media materials, clay, paint, felt, and more as we create imaginative animals and landscapes of the rainforest. From magnificent flora to bugs, birds, and other colorful critters, students will be inspired by an imaginary journey through the rainforest. Along the way, students will explore the sights and sounds of the forest while learning skills in both art and science. We will draw, paint, sculpt with clay, and even use paper mâché!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Dino Detectives
Grades: K-5th
Teacher: Bailey Conlee | August 3rd-7th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)
Grades: K-5th grade
This class is perfect for all those dinosaur-fanatics! Step back in time and uncover the mysteries of dinosaurs! Campers will combine art and science the entire week digging for fossils, creating dinosaur fossil rocks, making their own dino bones from papier-mâché, and much more! They’ll explore the history of dinosaurs through books, hands-on experiments, and a dino scavenger hunt. Perfect for curious young paleontologists who love discovery, creativity, and all things prehistoric.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Physics Unleashed
Grades: 3rd-5th

Does your student love science? We’re here to make physics fun! Students will engage in exciting hands-on activities that blend art and science in an enjoyable way. They’ll explore matter, energy, force, and motion through interactive experiments such as balloon-powered cars, catapults, sink-or-float challenges, eggs in salt water, lava lamps, and building their own pulley systems. Along the way, students will expand their knowledge while also doing creative projects along the way.

RePurpose Project
Grades: 6th-8th
Teacher: Gaby Hoss | August 3rd-7th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)
Grades: 6th-8th grade
Turn trash into treasure in this hands-on, eco-friendly art camp! Students will use recycled materials to design and create an original public sculpture/artwork that will be displayed in LASC’s Discovery Exhibit. Along the way, campers will explore sustainability, learn recycled art practices, and gain insight into museum exhibit design, including how artwork is displayed to engage the public. Perfect for creative middle schoolers who want to make a lasting impact, develop teamwork skills, and think green!

Learning Lounge Aftercare
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 10, August 3rd-7th | K - 8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm.
