Jillian Riseman (she/her) is LASC’s first ever ceramics artist-in-residence. From the very first pottery class she took as a child, Jillian has been finding ways to get her hands in the dirt. This love became more than a hobby when a friend offered Jillian access to her home studio during the COVID lockdown. Since then, Jillian has started Trash Pottery and has recently joined LASC as a visiting teacher. Over the next 8 months, she will be working in and maintaining our studio space, as well as hosting workshops and open studio hours.
