Summer Camp Week 2: June 8th-12th
Morning Meditation LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 2, June 8th-12th | K-8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Tiny Chefs
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5)
Teacher: Grace Kistner | June 8th-12th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)
Join us for a tasty adventure around the world! Little chefs will explore foods from different cultures through fun, hands-on activities and simple, safe cooking projects. They’ll learn about healthy foods and how children in other parts of the world enjoy mealtime. The class ends with a joyful food party, where everyone gets to share and taste their creations together!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Critter Creators
Grades: K-2nd

Welcome to a wild week of animal-inspired art design. Young artists will explore habitats, adaptations, and ecosystems while creating clay animals, sensory habitat bins, and stamped animal footprints. Campers will also make recycled-material animal sculptures, paint underwater scenes using watercolor resist, and design their own wearable animal masks. This creative camp blends art and life science through hands-on projects that encourage imagination and discovery.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Food or Fake
Grades: K-5th

Cooking and Sculpture in the same class, who would have thought! In this class, students will take a deep dive into learning basic cooking skills and then take it a step further by creating fun food sculptures. Students will learn to bake and cook simple meals that their whole family can enjoy for dinner. Students will also spend the afternoons learning to work with paper mache and plaster. They will create 3D sculptures in the representation of REAL food items. Don't miss the ultimate food challenge. Is it real or fake?

Time Travelers
Grades: 3rd-5th

Step into a time-traveling adventure designed for curious students! Each day, campers will explore a different historical era through hands-on art, crafts, and creative problem-solving. From fossil digs and cave art in Prehistoric times to building pyramids and writing hieroglyphs in Ancient Egypt, designing shields and crowns from the Medieval period, crafting rope projects inspired by the Wild West, and imagining futuristic cities and robots, campers will discover how culture, technology, and creativity evolve over time. This camp blends history, art, and imagination for an engaging journey through the past, present, and future.

Fantastic Forms: Mythical Creatures in Clay & Print
Grades: 6th-8th

In this camp, students will design and create their own magical creatures while exploring art concepts such as form, texture, and pattern through clay sculpting and printmaking. From dragons and monsters to entirely original creations, campers will learn how to use materials and techniques to express ideas and tell stories. Students will experiment with a variety of art concepts and learn to imagine and create with their hands. Perfect for middle schoolers who love creativity, imagination, and artistic challenges!

Learning Lounge Aftercare
Grades: K-12th
Summer Camp Week 2, June 8th-12th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm.
