Summer Camp Week 1: June 1st-5th
Morning Meditation LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 1, June 1st-5th | K - 8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Dino Dig
Grades: Pre-K (Ages 3-5)
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | June 1st-5th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)
Join us for a week-long adventure straight from the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! Students will explore different kinds of dinosaurs and discover modern animals that evolved from them. Participants will take part in hands-on activities such as dinosaur digs, hatching dinosaur eggs, dinosaur walks around LASC, examining fossils, and cracking open their own geode to take home.
This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Slime Lab
Grades: K-2nd

Goggles on! Get ready to get messy and creative with our Slimy Art class! This fun-filled camp is all about exploring the squishy, stretchy world of slime through art and science. Whether you're making colorful, glittery slime, turning it into an art masterpiece, or conducting a MAD science experiment you’ll discover new ways to mix and mold slime into your very own artistic and scientific creations.
This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Space Mission
Grades: K-5th

Prepare for launch—your space mission begins now! In Space Mission, campers will explore the wonders of outer space through exciting art and hands-on science projects. Campers will visit the planetarium, create their own solar systems and constellations, and help design and build a mini breakout game for The Living Arts & Science Center’s Space Lab. This immersive camp is perfect for young astronauts who love to create, explore, and imagine beyond the stars! At the end of the week, parents and staff will be invited into the Space Lab to try to crack the code of the Space Mission designed by these young, brilliant minds.

Studio Week
Grades: 3rd-5th
Teachers: Lisa Bashikhes & Marianne Brown | June 1st-5th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $365 ($340 Members)

In this Art & Clay Studio camp, students will explore food-inspired art using a variety of materials and techniques. In the art studio, they’ll create paper mâché foods, mix realistic colors, practice shading and highlights, and design illustrated placemats or menus. In the clay studio, campers will hand-build plates, bowls, mugs, pinch pots and all the basic ceramic skills.
This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Craft Lab
Grades: 6th-8th
Teacher: Gaby Hoss | June 1st-5th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Welcome to The Craft Lab where the world of DIY meets imagination! In this creative camp students will dive deep into the exciting world of arts and crafts, exploring new ways to express themselves through design. From custom tote bags and eye-catching collages to vibrant paintings and other unique projects, students will have the chance to experiment with a wide range of materials and craft techniques. Students will also explore their artistic process, collaborate with fellow classmates and gain skills to continue crafting long after camp ends. Each student will walk away with a portfolio of their favorite creations and the confidence to tackle any craft project that comes their way.

Learning Lounge LASC Aftercare
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 1, June 1st-5th | K-8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm.
