Adults Workshops
This fall, we are diving into “Lost Arts”. Join us weekly on Tuesdays to learn and grow in many different forms of “lost” arts. Classes meet in-person at The Living Arts and Science Center from 5:30-7:30p.m. and are designed for artists 18 and older!
Lost Arts Art Club | Soap Making
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | September 22nd, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of making handmade soap. Learn about different soap-making techniques, scents, colors, and ingredients while creating your very own custom bars to take home and enjoy!
This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center and all materials will be provided!
Lost Arts Art Club | Make Your Own Coffee Syrups
Teacher: Kristin Sauer | September 29th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of making your own homemade coffee syrups. Learn how to create delicious flavors using simple ingredients, explore different flavor combinations

Lost Arts Art Club | Candle Making
Teacher: | October 6th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of candle making. Learn about different types of wax, fragrances, and candle-making techniques while creating your very own custom-scented candle in a recycled glass to take home and enjoy!
This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center and all materials will be provided!
Lost Arts Art Club | Book Binding
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | October 13th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of bookbinding. Learn simple bookbinding techniques, explore different papers, covers, and binding styles, and create your very own handmade book/journal to take home and enjoy!

Lost Arts Art Club | Pasta Making
Teacher: Callie Northern | October 20th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of making fresh, handmade pasta. Learn how to prepare and work with pasta dough, shape different types of pasta, and discover helpful tips and techniques for creating delicious pasta from scratch.

Lost Arts Art Club | Sew Your Own Halloween Pillow
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | October 27th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of sewing while creating a festive Halloween or fall-themed pillow. Learn simple sewing techniques, how to work with fabric and stuffing, and add your own creative touches as you make a cozy seasonal pillow to take home and enjoy!

Lost Arts Art Club | Make Your Own Holiday Cards
Teacher: Ruth Cathey | November 3rd, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of making handmade holiday cards. Learn creative techniques for designing, decorating, and personalizing your own cards using a variety of festive materials. Create beautiful, one-of-a-kind cards to share with family and friends throughout the holiday season!

Lost Arts Art Club | Calligraphy
Teacher: | November 10th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of calligraphy. Learn proper lettering techniques, how to use calligraphy tools, and ways to create beautiful, decorative lettering. Practice your skills and create your own unique pieces to take home and enjoy!

Lost Arts Art Club | Sew Your Own Christmas Pajamas
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | November 17th, 5:30-7:30pm | $50 ($45 Members)
Ages 18+
This class will teach you the basics of sewing while creating your very own pair of festive Christmas pajamas. Learn how to work with fabric, follow a simple pattern, and practice essential sewing techniques as you make a cozy, personalized pajama set to take home and enjoy throughout the holiday season!
This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center and all materials will be provided!
LASC Adult Workshop Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made two-weeks prior or before to the class will not receive a refund, but are eligible for a camp credit to be used at a different time
Cancellations made within 24 hours of camp are not eligible for a refund or camp credit. Please contact Callie Northern : cnorthern@lasclex.org with further questions regarding refunds or camp credits.
