Art By Nature - Guided Painting

In this workshop, you'll follow step-by-step instructions from local artist Meredith Coffey to create a beautiful painting of vibrant fall leaves.

Fall Wreath Making
October 25th, 10:00am - 12:00pm | $45 ($40 Members)
Ages: 18+
Celebrate the season with a creative workshop where you’ll design a beautiful fall wreath. This class is perfect for anyone looking to bring warm, seasonal charm to their home or craft a heartfelt gift. Come ready to have fun and get crafty!

Ofrenda Building Workshop
October 30th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm | $10 fee at entry
Ages: 18+
In this workshop, you will learn how to create a traditional ofrenda, with step-by-step guidance by local artist Mercedes Harn. Participants will explore the rich symbolism behind each element and its significance in celebrating Día de los Muertos.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.
Soap Making
November 22nd, 10am-12pm | $45 ($40 members)
Ages: 18+
celebrate the season with a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to create your own handcrafted soap! This class is for anyone looking to explore natural ingredients, customize scents and colors, and make beautiful soaps to keep or as a gift. come ready to have fun!

Basket Weaving
Teacher: Janet Northern | January 24th, 10am-2pm | $80 ($70 Members)
Price includes 4-hour class and all materials
Ages 18+
Join the LASC with well-known basket weaver Janet Northern. This class will teach you the basics of weaving a handmade basket. Learn various techniques and basketry tricks as well as getting to take home your very own basket made from reed material.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. A sack lunch is recommended.

Cancellations made two-weeks prior or before to the class will not receive a refund, but are eligible for a camp credit to be used at a different time
