Join LASC for its first ever Golden Summer Camp. A class geared for students ages 50+! Join the fun and expand your ceramic skills with professional artist Marianne Brown. You’ll learn basic hand-building skills, throw on the potter’s, form your own designs and textures. This 5-day class is a wonderful introduction to all things clay.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.
Intro to Wheel Throwing Basics

Join LASC for its second ever Golden Summer Camp. A class geared for students ages 50+. Join instructor, Meghan Taylor in the clay studio to learn how to work with clay on the potter’s wheel. Students will spend the week learning how to center, open, pull and trim on the potter’s wheel as well as use different texture tools and decorating techniques. Come ready for a mess and a lot of fun!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center.

Join us for The Living Arts & Science Center's inaugural sessions of adult art club! Lost Arts Art Club meets twice a month with the goal to provide our lifelong learners an opportunity to try new things, explore traditional homemaking techniques, create, and socialize. Come prepared to make a mess, a new friend, or discover a hobby!
May 14th | Candle Making - Together, we will learn the art and science behind candle making and experiment with different fragrance combinations. Participants will leave with their own hand poured candle and the knowledge and skills to continue to make their own at home for gifts and decoration.

May 28th | Birthday Cake from Scratch - Forget that generic box mix and help Meghan celebrate her birthday with a cake made from basic, raw ingredients. Participants will take home a special, handcrafted birthday surprise!
