Volunteer with LASC

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with LASC! There are many opportunities to work with our amazing staff and support the community.

Event Support: Assist with projects throughout the event, registration, set up, clean up

Discovery Saturday: Every 3rd Saturday is a Discovery Saturday with projects throughout the day

Administrative Tasks: Shredding old documents, make donation calls, help with fundraising mailers

Community Outreach: Join an educator for an outreach event

Organizing/Cleaning: Help keep our materials tidy, organize closets, put donated materials away, deep clean classroom spaces

Field Trips: Be a field trip leader Tuesday - Friday from 10-2pm, background check and training required

Exhibit Design/Creation/Painting: LASC is always updating exhibits and need volunteers to help execute

Building Improvements: LASC is located in an original home built in 1847 and addition in 2016, painting walls, changing light bulbs, light handy-person needs

Gardening: Help maintain LASC community garden spaces

Teaching: Have a class idea? Opportunities for adult, family, and kid classes, background check and training required
