Summer Camp Week 4: June 22nd-26th
Morning Meditation: LASC Morning Care
Grades: K-8th
Summer Camp Week 4, June 22nd-26th | K - 8th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Need to drop off early? No problem, begin the day by joining our morning meditation starting at 8am. Students can enjoy activities such as yoga, stretching, getting your body moving and more all while under the stars in our planetarium. LASC staff will guide students to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Space & Art Explorers
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5)
Teacher: Kylie Adams | June 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 12:00 pm | $200 ($175 Members)
Grades: Pre-K (ages 3-5) (Must be bathroom independent)
Blast off into a week of cosmic creativity with Space Art Explorers! Campers will journey through galaxies, planets, and stars while exploring space through hands-on STEAM activities. They’ll create swirling galaxy paintings, sculpt rockets, build glowing nebula jars, and work together on a giant solar system mural. Along the way, campers will learn about astronomy, physics, and the wonders of outer space, all while making their own Out Of This World cosmic masterpieces!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide one peanut-free snack, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Junior Detective
Grades: K-2nd
Teachers: Kristin Sauer | June 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Myrtle the Turtle has gone missing at the LASC! We need your help solving the mystery of who took the turtle. Using the techniques that detectives and forensic scientists use, your student will unravel the mystery of the turtle snatching. Students will learn and be put to action using evidence, critical thinking and analysis skills. This is just one animal case that needs to be solved. Join us to see who else needs our help.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
Tinker Time
Grades: K-5th
Teacher: Gaby Hoss | June 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)

Get ready to imagine, build, and tinker! In this hands-on camp, students will explore how things work by designing, building, and experimenting with a variety of materials. Campers will use everyday items, simple tools, and creative thinking to invent, test, and improve their own projects. Through fun challenges and open-ended activities, students will practice problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity while learning that it’s okay to try, fail, and try again!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
From Mud to Masterpiece
Grades: 3rd-5th
Teacher: Christine Collier | June 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $365 ($340 Members)
Grades: 3rd-5th grade
Get ready to transform clay into art! Campers will explore the world of ceramics through hands-on projects, learning techniques like hand-building, slab construction, wheel throwing, surface design and much more! Students will create everything from functional pieces to self-imagined sculptures, experimenting with texture, form, and color along the way. This camp is perfect for young artists who love working with their hands and bringing their ideas to life in clay!

Sewing Club
Grades: 6th-8th
Teacher: Meredith Coffey | June 22nd-26th, 9:00am - 4:00pm | $350 ($325 Members)
Grades: 6th-8th grade
Stitch, design, and create in Sewing Club! This hands-on camp introduces both hand sewing and sewing machine skills in a fun, creative environment. Campers will learn basic stitching techniques, pattern basics, and machine operation while creating projects such as tote bags, quilts, keychains, plushies, aprons, and more. Perfect for beginners and creative teens who want to build practical skills while making unique, take-home creations.

Learning Lounge Aftercare
Grades: K - 12th
Summer Camp Week 4, June 23rd-27th | K - 12th Grade | $50 ($45 Members)
Join LASC for the aftercare Learning Lounge. Students can enjoy supervised crafts, games, activities and recreation time after class. Students need to be picked up by 5:30pm.
