Seedlings in STEAM is a free 15-week program for preschoolers ages 3–5 and their caregivers, offering hands-on opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math while building early school-readiness skills. Each month features a new area of discovery with engaging activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. The program meets Wednesdays from 10:30–11:30 AM, September 9–December 16, 2026.

September – Nature Explorers Register for September
September 9, 16, 23 & 30

Explore the natural world through plants, seeds, leaves, soil, and trees. Discover how plants grow, what living things need to survive, and how nature supports the world around us. Hands-on exploration, simple science investigations, sensory activities, and creative projects will encourage curiosity and a love of the outdoors.

October – Animal Explorers Register for October
October 7, 14, 21 & 28

Discover the fascinating world of animals and the environments they call home. Explore animal characteristics, habitats, movement, and adaptations while learning how different animals survive in their surroundings. Hands-on activities, games, and creative projects will bring the animal world to life.

November – Earth Explorers Register for November
November 4, 11, 18 & 25

Take a closer look at the amazing planet we call home through exploration of rocks, water, weather, and recycling. Investigate how water moves, what makes rocks unique, how weather changes, and how our everyday choices can impact the environment. Each week combines simple science experiments, hands-on discovery, and opportunities to explore and create.

December – Space & Science Explorers Register for December

December 2, 9 & 16

Blast off into the world of space and science with hands-on investigations of light, shadows, the Moon, stars, and more. Explore how light works, experiment with shadows, investigate Moon craters, and discover the wonders of the night sky. A month filled with simple experiments, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities to wonder, explore, and make discoveries.
