Homeschool Day
What is Homeschool Day?
Homeschool Day is a series of hour-long classes held once a month from 10:30-11:30AM. The goal of Homeschool Day is to provide homeschooled arts-lovers a safe space to meet like-minded people, try new things, and potentially discover new hobbies and interests! Each meeting is a stand-alone class, and students may register for as many classes as they’d like (pre-registration is required).
Participants will be required to pay for admission and pre-register prior to any homeschool day class.
All classes will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Transportation will not be provided by the LASC.

Homeschool Day | Day of The Dead
October 16th | 10:30am - 11:30am
Join us for a fun and educational morning where kids learn about Day of The Dead (Día de los Muertos) through projects and hands-on activities that celebrate Mexican culture and honoring loved ones.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Students must have their own form of transportation to and from LASC.
Homeschool Day | Art Day
November 20th | 10:30am-11:30am
Join us for a creative morning of art activities, where students can explore color, texture, and self-expression through fun, guided projects. Perfect for budding young artists!

Homeschool Day | Winter Wonder Lab
December 19th | 10:30am-11:30am
Explore the science and beauty of snowflakes, create your own snow globes, and bundle up for a special planetarium show. It’s a winter adventure you won’t want to miss!
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Students must have their own form of transportation to and from LASC.
Homeschool Day | Mad Scientist
January 15th | 10:30am-11:30am
Join us for a science-filled morning! Explore exciting reactions, discover the art in science, and enjoy a planetarium show all about the wonders of space.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Students must have their own form of transportation to and from LASC.
Homeschool Day | Space Explorers
February 19th | 10:30am-11:30am
Blast off into a morning of discovery! Explore planets, stars, and galaxies through engaging activities, creative projects, and a journey through the cosmos in our planetarium show.

Homeschool Day | Art & Tech Mashup
March 19th | 10:30am-11:30am
Join us for a morning of art, design, and technology-based projects that blend artistic expression with STEM fun!

April 16th | 10:30am-11:30am
Step into the world of mystery! Kids will solve clues, decode messages, and explore detective skills through fun, hands-on activities.
