Homeschool Day
What is Homeschool Day?
Homeschool Day is a series of hour-long classes held once a month from 1:00-2:00PM. The goal of Homeschool Day is to provide homeschooled arts-lovers a safe space to meet like-minded people, try new things, and potentially discover new hobbies and interests! Each meeting is a stand-alone class, and students may register for as many classes as they’d like (pre-registration is required).
Please register your student for free online before the event and simply pay for the event the day of at the LASC front desk. Also note that although registration is free, this program costs $5 per participating student. Parents, students not participating and children under the age of 3 are free. Registering online will save your spot until the day of. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please notify the LASC staff before the event so we may reopen your spot for another student.
Participants will be required to pre-register for free prior to any homeschool day class. All payments will be due the day off at the front desk.
Pricing:
$5 for students
Adults, students not participating, and children 3 & under are free.
All classes will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center. Transportation will not be provided by the LASC.
Fall ‘26/Spring ‘27 Schedule
Join us for a journey Around the World! Each month we will explore a different continent, talking about major cultural factors of each one. Please register your student for free online before the event and simply pay for the event the day of at the LASC front desk.
Homeschool Day | Around the World: North America | K-5th
September 10th | 1:00pm-2:00pm
September is focusing on North America, highlighting the unique cultivation varieties that stretch throughout the continent.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Students must have their own form of transportation to and from LASC.

September 24th | 1:00pm-2:00pm
September is focusing on North America, highlighting the unique cultivation varieties that stretch throughout the continent.

In January we will venture into the cold continent of Antarctica, highlighting the climate and adaptations of the area.
