Students will explore the world of science within recycling and composting, the ecosystem surrounding them and how these two interact, and different types of pollutants that plague our planet from plastics and other natural and man-made materials.

Art Explorers Afterschool Program
Clay Package
By the end of this 8-week course, students will be able to create a variety of hand-built ceramic forms using essential techniques such as pinching, coiling, slab construction, surface decoration, and glazing. They will also demonstrate proper studio practices and complete a small collection of finished pieces that show growth in craftsmanship and personal artistic expression.
