Professional Development

The Living Arts and Science Center, of Lexington, is pleased to present professional development programs elementary and middle school teachers in Kentucky. We promote academic achievement and scientific understanding by empowering teachers to engage students in creative and hands-on learning experiences that reflect the many ways that science and art are practiced, applied, and interrelated. LASC workshops are dynamic, relevant, and always based on Kentucky core concepts. All workshop participants will receive a unit of study complete with lesson plans and a hands-on classroom activity kit.
