TranspARTation Grant- Kentucky Arts Council August 17th, 2015 Deadline
The TranspARTation Grant enables Kentucky teachers and schools to offer students quality arts experiences by providing transportation funding. Grants will be based on the mileage from the school building to the arts organization or performance venue and the number of buses necessary. Any Kentucky public or private school that supports grades pre-K through 12 may apply for a TranspARTation Grant. The application deadline is Aug. 17 for field trips scheduled from Oct. 1, 2015, to June 30, 2016.
Schools receiving TranspARTation Grants must attend arts events presented by one of many preapproved TranspARTation organizations.

Teaching Art Together Grant – Kentucky Arts Council
The Teaching Art Together Grant lets Kentucky teachers collaborate with practicing, professional artists on the design and implementation of innovative one- to four-week residencies. Residencies provide teachers with the tools to continue to incorporate the arts into the curriculum after the residency is completed.
BGCF Teacher Mini-Grants
The Community Foundation awards grants each year to Fayette County Public School’s teachers to encourage innovation in teaching and to support teachers who have ideas for creative, interesting programs, projects or events for their classrooms that will encourage learning. The program will enable the purchase of special materials or resources for the classroom which are not allocated in school budgets. Grants are approximately $1,000 each.
Blue Grass Community Foundation Community Grants
Each year, critical community needs are assessed and an area of focus is determined for the Community Grants program. Nonprofits, schools and exempt government entities serving to meet needs in the area of focus are encouraged to apply. Community Grants will be awarded in amounts up to $5,000 and are for 501(c)3 agencies serving Anderson, Bourbon, Fayette, Franklin, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
Kentucky Council of Teachers of Mathematics (KCTM) Grants
The Kentucky Council Teachers of Mathematics will award up to three grants of up to $1,000 each to encourage and support the efforts of KCTM classroom teachers in the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies in the field of mathematics.
