Art Discovery Field Trips

Join us for an exciting Art Field Trip that will enhance your students’ understanding of art core concepts!

A visit to The Living Arts and Science Center lasts 90 minutes and is comprised of two 45 minute components:

Component 1: Art Gallery.
Experience the process and product of local and regional art as you view art on exhibit, explore hands-on exhibit stations, and see professional artists at work!

Component 2: Art Making
Create art using similar processes and media as those found in the art gallery while focusing on elements of art and principles of design.

Component 3: Culture Curiosity
Learn about the cultures and histories related to the art on display!

We can accommodate up to 50 students at one time.
$3.50 per student and parent. Teachers are free.
