The LASC welcomes business, professional, social, educational or family groups to utilize the beautiful building and grounds of the historic 1847 Kinkead House. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The handicap accessible building includes a large Art Gallery, a Discovery Gallery, a library/reception area, and four classrooms, in addition to reception areas. The 1.5 acre grounds provide an outdoor pavilion, gardens, a waterfall and stream, and several public artworks. Our own parking lot is located directly in front of the building.
The space can be arranged for meetings, receptions, weddings, reunions, or other types of gatherings. Indoor facilities are appropriate for up to 125 people, larger events can be accommodated if utilizing indoor and outdoor space.
In addition, as a unique art and science facility, if an art or science program is desired, the LASC will work with you to present an interactive, educational and fun program for your guests.
Rental fees are based upon the size and scope of the event. Please contact Heather Lyons, Executive Director, to discuss your needs. Email: kvoskuhl@LASCLEX.org or 859-252-5222.
