Each year, the Living Arts & Science Center
presents more than 400 creative art and science classes and workshops for
children 18-months old up to adults. Hands-on creative learning is the focus
and classes are available in a wide variety of two and three-dimensional art
forms including painting, drawing, pottery, fiber art, photography, cartooning
and animation, natural history illustration, sculpture, and more.
Each of our semesters (Fall/Holiday,
Winter/Spring and Summer) presents new and exciting opportunities in
parent-child classes for children 18 to 36 months old, and for pre-school,
youth, teens and adults. During the school year, classes are offered at the
Living Arts & Science Center during the day, after-school, in the evenings and
on Saturdays.
No-School Day
Classes
Classes are provided 8:00 am – 5:30 PM when Fayette Co. Public Schools are
not in session. This includes most holiday breaks, Spring Break, and in-service
or records days.
After-School Classes
We also provide after-school classes at some Fayette Co. Public Schools.
Check with us to see where our classes are offered. Let us know where you would

Summer Semester
Our Summer Semester of classes offers nine one-week sessions of fun and
creativity, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Our 2007 Summer Schedule will be on the Web site
in the first week of April! Early registrations are encouraged as many classes
fill quickly!
